We fit all of our designs on the bodies around us — our friends, moms, neighbours, everyday people just like you. That’s why yours will feel like it’s custom-made. 

Nettle’s Tale launched in 2014 via a wildly successful crowdfunding campaign. With only 6 initial swimsuit designs to start, our campaign goal was quickly surpassed (seven times over), all thanks to the community of people who believed in our vision. In 2019 our desire to create ethically made, feel-good swimwear expanded to include an apparel line, offered in sizes 4X-XS.

As of April 2021, our brand new Vancouver storefront is open! Customers can shop both our swim & apparel lines in-store, as well as a number of other locally owned, size-inclusive, and ethically made brands.
