Lotta linen

Nice quality but did not like the coarse linen feel

Crouton button up

I was hoping for a looser fit, I find it a tad short and boxy. For the price I really want to love it . The linen is super wrinkly as well ( which I get linen is like that, but this seems more so) and I think the buttons could have been nicer.

High quality, classic white shirt

Everything in the description of this shirt is true: it's a boxy fit, it's high-quality linen, it has pockets. I'm looking forward to (carefully) washing and wearing this shirt for years as it gets softer and softer. It's shorter than I would have liked; I have a long torso and the pockets are right at my natural waist. The cut is fairly straight up and down, which means that a shirt that fits perfectly around my bust (in a girlfriend collective sports bra, haven't tried it with a more structured bra yet) bunches up around my hips when I sit down. Still, was shocked by how perfectly the busy and shoulders fit when I put it on. Buy according to the size chart and don't expect a shirt that will be traditionally 'flattering' (i.e. something that will emphasize a narrower waist) and this is a wonderful, extremely high quality investment piece for a very reasonable price. Fully expect to be wearing this shirt for the next decade if I care for it properly!

Note for readers that this is a heavier linen. The weave is still fairly loose so it feels great on hot & humid days, but the fabric may be stiffer than expected if you're more used to stretch linen blends, or gauzier cotton- or rayon-linen blends. 100% linen can be quite stiff at first but it just gets nicer with every wash!

Didn't work for me

I loved the idea of this top - something breezy that I could layer over tank tops in the summer - but it was thicker/heavier than I imagined and wasn't flattering (my opinion). Button up, collared shirts are not for everyone, I guess! I am top-heavy.
